Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): This form of treatment is especially effective for individuals who self-harm and/or engage in suicidal behaviors. Often they are diagnosed with borderline personality disorder or other mood regulation disorders like depression or bipolar disorder. DBT includes individual therapy and skills training group sessions facilitated by professionals trained in this form of cognitive behavioral treatment. Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-A): Adolescent DBT is a treatment that has been specifically designed to treat adolescents suffering from signficant emotional dysregulation, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal behaviors. DBT-A includes individual therapy with the adolescent, family therapy as needed, and multi-family skills training group sessions with the adolescent and their caregivers together. Anxiety Disorders Treatment: Treatment for anxiety disorders is focused on research-informed techniques that will assist you in managing your anxieties and to break the cycle of self-defeating behaviors that block you from enjoying life to its fullest.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: This is a powerful and proven form of therapy that teaches you how certain thinking patterns can lead to painful emotions and their corresponding self-defeating behaviors.
Bariatric Psychological Assessments: Conducted for patients seeking bariatric surgery.
Family Skills Training: Teaches tools for coping with chronic mental illness in a loved one. This program is offered annually for parents, spouses/partners, adult children, or significant others with a loved one who struggles with chronic, self-defeating choices.
