Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-A) was designed to deliver adherent DBT to adolescents who are struggling with emotional dysregulation, self harm behaviors, and suicidal behaviors. Research shows it to be one of the most effective forms of therapy when delivered through a comprehensive treatment program such as the one offered at our clinic.
Our comprehensive DBT-A program serves adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18. Common presenting problems that are well suited for DBT-A include emotional dysregulation (intense depression, anxiety, and anger), impulsivity, self harm behaviors, suicidal ideation, suicidal behaviors, and significant family or social relationship distress.
