The Center for Behavioral Medicine is now offering a 16-week abbreviated DBT skills group. The group is open to current CBM clients, those on the waitlist, and those who want to maintain their current outpatient mental health provider.

The ACCESS group would be a good fit if you or a client you work with could benefit from learning skills to effectively:

  • identify, change, and prevent distressing and potentially unhelpful emotional experiences
  • cope with challenging situations
  • improve interpersonal communication
  • increase awareness and attention to the present moment (via mindfulness)

The ACCESS group meets weekly on Thursdays from 6pm-8pm. Enrollment is ongoing; new clients can start each week. In response to COVID-19, sessions are being conducted virtually via telehealth services.
