In this workshop, participants will learn how to identify and see the validity of both sides of a conflict, where neither side has to be wrong. We will help to identify what gets in the way of empathy and common obstacles. We will review common behavioral patterns that lead to more out-of-balance responses to our loved ones. Finally, we will teach the THINK skill to help build empathy in the midst of interpersonal conflict.

Participants will learn:

  • How to see the validity of both sides of an argument.
  • Common obstacles to empathy.
  • How to use more balanced ways of behaving in relationships.
  • The THINK skill to build empathy in the midst of a difficult interaction.
