The focus of this workshop is Biosocial Theory & Dialectical Dilemmas that make it difficult to Regulate Emotions.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • The biological and social pieces that transact between an individual and their environment
  • How to view problems in emotion regulation from an empathic standpoint
  • Problematic behaviors are often the result of a person trying to get their needs met in an extreme manner
  • What to do if our loved one is stuck in a problematic behavioral pattern
  • Skills for supporting a loved one in communicating their emotions and getting their needs met in more effective ways
